Fred was born and raised in Chicago, IL to Henry & Marie Paul along with his two brothers Hank and Bernie. As a young adult, he served in the Korean War as an Army Staff Sgt. When returning from the war, he married the love of his life, Lucille Scaran on June 6th, 1953. Together, they had four children and made their home in Northlake IL. He has lived there ever since. He worked as a foreman at Classic Sheet Metal until retiring. Fred was very involved in Northlake Politics, serving 46 years in various positions. At the time of his passing, he was still the City Treasurer for Northlake. He coached Northlake baseball for many years, and was  respected by so very many young boys he influenced. This wonderful man loved sports, westerns, comedy, as he always was joking, but perhaps his more cherished love was for his family. They were everything to him.
